This part of the Astronary covers a wide range of terminology relating to Astronist eschatology, the discipline concerned with the destiny of humankind and the afterlife in the astronomical world.

a prophesied period of gradual decline (called the Devolution) experienced as a result of humanity’s inability to initiate the Humanic Exploration of The Cosmos (including the Astronomic Revolution and Space Revolution) before a stipulated time.

a potential fact of the physical cosmos and the present state of human knowledge regarding the question of extraterrestrial life; that there exists no evidence of intelligent life except humans in The Cosmos. Desolation

the belief that humans are the only intelligent life in The Cosmos, that it has always been this way, and that it shall remain as such until the end of time. This belief and its related concepts hold significant consequences in Astronist eschatology and for how Astronism is compared to other religions, especially those religions whose belief systems rely upon the accuracy of desolationism.
